We are delighted that you are part Hudson Valley’s emerging Jewish Renewal spiritual community called Kol Ḥai. Whether you have participated in each and every Kol Ḥai event or just one or two Shabbat services, we want you to know that we are growing and organizing and offering more services and events than ever before!
We have a leadership team in place, a Board of Directors, and several working groups (kevutzot); there are new opportunities for community involvement on multiple layers. And we need your help to sustain our growth.
Kol Ḥai means “all life.” As a sustaining member, you are valuing connection with the unique vitality within each of us, with each other, and with our world. These connections will happen at Shabbat services (currently two Friday nights and one Saturday morning each month), holiday celebrations (including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Chanukah, Tu B’shvat, Purim, Passover, Lag B’omer, and more), and community service events.
As a sustainer of Kol Ḥai, you can participate in all of the above services, celebrations, and community events. You also have access to our evolving children’s education program, opportunities for rabbinic counsel from Shir Yaakov, and an invitation to participate in the kevutzot — teams that plan and implement community activities. You can also enjoy the benefit of paying a reduced fee for lifecycle events officiated by Shir Yaakov, including baby namings, b'nai mitzvah, weddings, and funerals.
We are asking you to give a minimum of $18 per adult per month as your “hetzi shekel” offering. Count yourself in. Of course, gifts beyond $18/month are greatly appreciated as well!
